Overview
This article addresses an issue where Exception Reports do not work when using wildcards in the Exception field.
Resolution
Wildcards are not accepted in the Exception field for the GFI WebMonitor reports because they need to match precisely the entries in the database for the exception to be added. To facilitate this process, you should perform the following steps:
- Select the timeframe that will be reflected in the report.
- Navigate to Dashboard > Activity > Websites.
- Type a relevant filter you want to add to the exception in the search box.
- You will see all the data you need to add to your report filter in the Websites table.
