Customer will receive an email notification about a ThreatTrack update every hour even though he doesn't have that feature licenced.Workaround / Fix Details
There are three options:
A. GFI WebMonitor 2011 R3 SR (build 20111110)

B. Patch for build 20110920 (Readme included):

"This patch should be applied to installations of the following build of
GFI WebMonitor 2011 R3
-> 20110920
Issues fixed:
1. Threat Track is still downloading an update every hour and sends a notification email although it is not licensed.
How to apply the patch:
1. Stop the GFI WebMonitor service.
2. Copy the file WMonSrv.exe to GFI WebMonitor 2011 R3 intall folder (e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\GFI\Webmonitor") overwriting the existing one.
3. Start the GFI WebMonitor service."
C. Manual procedure for 20110920
1. Stop the GFI WebMonitor services
2. Open the file ...WebMonitor\Interface\App_Data\configuration.db (with e.g. SQLiteSpy, SQLite Database Browser- http://sqlitebrowser.sourceforge.net/)
3. Run the following queries:
Update config
set value = "Disabled"
where item = 'ThreatTrack'
where item = 'ThreatTrack_Check_For_Updates'
where item = 'ThreatTrack_Update_Success_Notifications'
where item = 'ThreatTrack_Notify_Users'
where item = 'ThreatTrack_Notify_Admins'
4. Save the changes
5. Start the services againRequired Actions
1. Install the silent release, apply the patch (or apply the manual solution)
