Your subscription for GFI WebMonitor will be renewed soon and you would like to know if the product will keep functioning while you have an active subscription for GFI Unlimited and when would the GFI WebMonitor service stop working. This article provides clarification regarding the EOL (End-of-Life) status of the GFI WebMonitor product and offers an alternative solution (Kerio Control) for similar functionality.
Information
GFI WebMonitor product has reached End-of-Life (EOL) status and has not been offered within GFI Unlimited since January 1st, 2020.
While an established part of a product life cycle, GFI recognizes that EOL product life milestones must be clearly stated to allow you and your customers to plan accordingly with your business operations.
The end-of-life date is the date of each existing subscription expiry, and after the WebMonitor license expires it is no longer possible to renew it. The end of renewal for existing subscriptions was January 31st, 2020.
Important Notes:
- WebMonitor will continue functioning for the duration of the existing subscription, and the current level of support will also be offered.
- WebMonitor has a 10-day grace period after license expiration.
- After the grace period, the services will shut down and no more web filtering will be performed.
- GFI WebMonitor will not be offered within GFI Unlimited effective January 1, 2020.
